In December 2010, Koelner was granted the AEO status of an authorized economic operator. The AEO status is granted to those economic operators who are reliable and solvent, and whose organization, infrastructure and security systems used for IT systems and goods storing locations, or means of transport respectively, ensure security and safety of places and goods and protect against unauthorized access. The certificate is issued by a relevant customs body of a Member State of the European Community. Its aim is to simplify numerous complex procedures between the companies and administration.
