TopBuilder 2012 for TFIX-8ST all-purpose facade fastener of the Koelner company
On 6th December 2011 in the Lubomirscy Family Palace in Warsaw the 4th TopBuilder 2012 Gale took place, where high quality innovative products and technologies for the construction industry, equipment and devices, modern engineering and construction facilities, IT products, services and other undertakings provided for the construction industry were awarded.
The Chapter of the Competition presided by Prof. Leonard Runkiewicz, PhD. Eng. granted Koelner the Statuette of the TopBuilder 2012 for their newest product – TFIX-8ST in the category of Product of the Year in the Construction Industry.
The awarded TFIX-8ST is an innovative product patented by Koelner. It is an application based on insulation of the plate with polyurethane foam as an integral part of a fastener, which allows an optimal and simple fixing of the facade insulation without the need of using thermal insulation masking caps. TFIX-8ST product allows to fix insulation to all kinds of surfaces, which also guarantees the greatest bearing capacity with the most shallow anchoring.
The aim of the Competition is to present both the most innovative and the best, exploitation reliable materials, equipment and construction devices in order to be promoted and as to broaden the engineering knowledge on cutting-edge solutions. The solutions are necessary for the construction and modernization of facilities, which should be performed in accordance with balanced development, up-to date methods, and in no time manner. In addition, it should guarantee high quality, durability and security. TopBuilder is also an award for best indicatives to the benefit of the construction development in Poland. The Statuette of the TopBuilder is granted by “Builder" magazine.
